It looks like much of the country is under a new blanket of snow.  Seems it is heading to Pittsburgh as sleet and rain, turning to snow. 

I love living in a city that experiences the four seasons.  While I was cooking dinner last night, the sun was shining through my kitchen windows.  I don’t think I would have even noticed the sunshine, except that it was 5:30 and it has been some time since I have seen sunshine at that hour.

I stood at the sink for a moment.  I said a prayer of thanks.  Then, I noticed him.  I haven’t seen my feathered friend in a few months, but he was back yesterday.

I am looking forward to spring.
