A purple Earth day

Last night, John and I went to Settler’s Cabin park. We parked our car and began walking on a well-worn path through the woods. Before we began I asked Joe for a sign to let me know that he is around us.  Shortly into the walk, John mentioned the tiny purple flowers that were popping up from the Earth. I didn’t think that was a sign, but certainly a great reminder of my boy.

We continued walking.  I love spending time with John.  We saw a sign directing us to a park trail. I couldn’t believe it when I saw that the trail was called the “purple trail”!  Of course, we walked the trail.  I loved seeing purple markings on the trees!

It was a great evening on the eve of Earth day!  Enjoy nature today!
