Peace in the present.

I work hard to stay in the present. I am getting better. It takes me often checking in with myself. I make an effort to stop and take a deep breath which helps to bring me back to the now.

I saw this quote yesterday.

“If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”

Well, I love that.
