Something new. Ciao.

Today I am beginning a two week new experience for me. John and I are leaving for Europe.

I have someone taking care of our house, all of my work is complete and all is good with my girl. There is nothing to have anxiety about. After all, travel was my family’s business. Travel is not new to me. However, going to Europe and seeing more than one country, with us speaking only one language, well, there are more than a few unknowns.

I’m sure that I was a monk in a past life. We monks, we don’t like unknowns.

It is literally planes, trains, ships and automobiles.

John and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. This has been a long time in the making. Although I am nervous, I am excited.

The packing is done and it is time to go. If I am not taking it, I can buy it there.

I am excited to enjoy this new experience with my favorite person. I’m looking forward to seeing so many new things. I can’t wait to bring home many treasures that will, in the future, remind me of this wonderful time.

I am going to ask for prayers. Prayers that we are safe. Prayers that my body cooperates and is pain-free. Prayers that everyone back home is healthy and safe.

Thank you for that.

I don’t know about internet or the ability to write or post so, until September…. Ciao.
